Technical Assistant to the Chief Executive
Adekanmbi Adeleke (MNAAE, Ph.D. in view) is an Economist with multi-sectoral work experience spread across the areas of farming, Research, University lecturing, Agribusiness and Project development. Prior to joining NAMEL, Adeleke worked briefly as a lecturer at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun State. He has over ten publications in reputable local and international journals in the areas of food security welfare economics, sustainable agriculture, and poverty analysis.
Adeleke is a recipient of multiple awards including Oyo State Government Scholarship for Brilliant Oyo state Indigenes (2009) and Abel Ogundokun Odeleye Foundation Scholarship for Superior Academic Performance (2008, 2009 and 2010 Awards).
Adeleke acquired Master of Agriculture with Honours in Agricultural Economics and Farm Management from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria where he graduated with Distinction and as the overall best student in the department (2013/2014 set).He also holds a Bachelor of Technology in Agricultural Economics and Extension from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Nigeria and graduated among the top 1% in his class. He is a result-oriented person who works hard and pays attention to details. He is flexible, quick to pick up new skills and always ready to learn from others.
