Head of Program

Engr. Dada Oluwatade, a seasoned Service Engineer, brings a wealth of expertise to his current role as the Head of Programs at NAMEL’s service provision level. A comprehensive understanding of various aspects of the Agricultural Development Value Chain characterises his professional journey.

Engr. Oluwatade’s areas of expertise encompass Agricultural Mechanization, Mechanization Equipment Fabrication, Soil and Water Conservation, Controlled Environment Agriculture, and Agricultural Extension and Training Services. His extensive knowledge in these domains makes him a valuable asset to NAMEL’s mission of advancing agricultural practices and empowering farmers.

Before joining NAMEL, Engr Oluwatade gained valuable experience through internships at the National Center for Agricultural Mechanization (NCAM) in Ilorin and Maglands Creation in Ibadan. During these internships, he actively contributed to fabricating diverse agricultural mechanisation equipment and machinery. Additionally, he was involved in tasks such as tractor and equipment testing, tractor hiring services, and training programs for tractor operators and mechanics, demonstrating his hands-on approach and commitment to excellence in the field.

Engr. Oluwatade’s academic journey includes a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural and Bioresources Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Minna in 2014.

His impressive qualifications complement his professional certifications, including being a certified member of COREN and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). These certifications underscore his commitment to maintaining high standards in his work.

In his current role as the Head of Programs, Engr. Oluwatade is responsible for developing strategies for the timely implementation of projects undertaken by the company and ensuring that rigorous standards are upheld. Before this position, he served as the company’s Head of Project, coordinating land development and preparation operations across ten (10) states of the Federation. His dedication and expertise remain pivotal in NAMEL’s pursuit of excellence in the agricultural industry.
