Christopher Suberu brings a comprehensive skill set and extensive expertise to his role. He is a skilled and dedicated professional with a master’s degree in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering from the University of Ilorin.

A solid commitment to safety and mechanised agriculture marks Christopher’s journey to NAMEL. He previously held the position of Safety and Health Officer at Dual Engineering Limited, where he made significant contributions to maintaining safe work environments. In 2015, he underwent Cassava Mechanization training at Go Ahead Farms Ubiaja, under the guidance of the National Centre for Agricultural Mechanization (NCAM), enhancing his practical knowledge in mechanised farming.

A standout achievement in Christopher’s career was his role as the Kogi State Farm Manager for the 5 Star Cassava Mechanization program under the Anchor Borrower Program of the Central Bank of Nigeria in 2020. This position highlighted his leadership skills, strategic thinking, and ability to execute successful agricultural programs.

As a proud member of the Nigeria Institute of Agricultural Engineers (NIAE) and a certified Safety and Health Professional (WSO), Christopher exemplifies his commitment to professional excellence and safety practices. His academic prowess, hands-on experience, and professional affiliations significantly contribute to NAMEL’s mission of advancing mechanised agriculture and ensuring sustainable practices.

Currently engaged as a Service Engineer at NAMEL, Christopher functions principally as the Project Desk Officer for the PAADs Program. His qualifications include a master’s degree in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering from the University of Ilorin. Additionally, he holds memberships in the World Safety Organization (WSO), the Nigerian Institution of Agricultural Engineers (NIAE), and the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE).

Before joining NAMEL, Christopher’s career included roles as a safety, health, and environment officer at Dual Engineering Limited and an internship at Go Ahead Farms Limited, Ubiaja. His most recent employment was at the Kwara State Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Resources, further enhancing his practical experience in agricultural engineering and safety practices.
