George Oche is a highly motivated professional with over fifteen years of experience in administration and finance. Currently serving as the Head of Finance and administration at NAMEL, he plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth administration of the company. His responsibilities include coordinating, organising, and supervising the workforce to achieve organisational goals while maintaining the efficient operation of the accounting system in line with best practices.

Throughout his career, George has demonstrated a remarkable ability to excel in various areas, including administration, finance, procurement, and logistics. His multifaceted skills are underpinned by outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling him to multitask and consistently achieve goals. His strategic decision-making prowess has been instrumental in driving income growth and expanding organisational resources.

George’s professional journey includes significant roles at the Alliance for Credible Elections, where he worked with a coalition of 25 Civil Society Groups and Mass-Based Organizations. In this capacity, he contributed to financial reporting, administrative management, and logistics coordination. He has proven proficiency in fund management and the successful implementation of procurement contracts for prestigious organisations such as UNDP, OSIWA, FES Foundation, Roxalexburg Foundation, Action Aid Nigeria, MacArthur Foundation, and USAID through PACT, NDI, IRI, and IFES.

Educationally, George holds a Master’s in Business Administration from the National Open University of Nigeria (2015) and a Bachelor of Sciences in Accounting from Benue State University, Makurdi (2004). He has been an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) since 2010. His commitment to growth is further demonstrated through his active participation in training programs focused on Finance, Administration, Procurement Contracts, and Logistics functions.
